All projects call for special moments, and this site was no different. This reception area in London was previously a standard white box with a tall brown desk, and needed something to delight those, young or old, who pateintly pass through everyday. Taking on this challenge, we conceptualised an art installation based on the Victorian past time of 'Cabinets of Curiosity' and set out to create moments of wonder and discovery that spark our imaginations. Working with our team, we built bespoke cabinetry and commissioned a collection of "vegan taxidermy". This unique piece is not only a great conversation starter but also atracts nightly attention from street level, when the backlit display draws passerbys into its own little world!
