Stuck for a family activity this weekend? Want the chance to win a room makeover design? Our Design a Den Competition gives you the perfect activity to keep your little ones entertained, whilst giving you the opportunity to win a DIY Interior Design Plan (worth over £800) to give some love to a room of your choice.

Whether it’s a castle made out of kitchen chairs and bed sheets, a mini library of sofa cushions and fairylights or a pirate ship built out of pallets, we want you to get your imaginations sparking.

Get your family working together to design, build and photograph your ideal den and we’ll pick our favourite as the lucky winner.

To enter the competition, all you need to do is:

    Use whatever you have around the house to turn that concept into reality

  • Send us some photographs of your family in your brand new den

WIN A ROOM MAKEOVER DESIGN

The winning family will receive our DIY Interior Design Plan for a room of your choice. Maybe your living room needs to work better for you, or a kid's bedroom is in need of a makeover.  The prize includes a virtual consultation to discuss your needs and budget, after which we will create a mood board, floor plan layout, furniture plan, colour palette, wall finish and online shopping list. You’ll receive everything you need to complete the room in your own time.

SUBMISSIONS

Please email entries to anna@houseofkin.co.uk by Sunday 24th May.

 

Please include in the email:

  • Hand drawn sketch of your den design

  • A photograph of your family using the den 

  • Family name (eg. the Smith family)

  • Children’s names and ages (eg. Bella aged 3, Tom aged 6) 

  • Name of town you live in (eg. London)

  • Parents name and email address

  • Parents instagram and/or Facebook handle (if you are happy for us to tag you)

 

Submissions need to be received by Sunday 24th May 2020 and the

winner will be announced on Sunday 31st May 2020.

Terms and conditions

  • All entries must be submitted online by emailing your design in PDF or JPEG format to anna@houseofkin.co.uk 

  • The competition is open to families with at least one child who is under 10 years old.

  • Only one entry per family

  • The prize will be allocated at the discretion of the judges and all decisions are final

  • The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable.  No cash alternative is available.  

  • This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any third parties including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.

  • The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent.  Your personal details will at all times be confidential and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
