Broomwood School came to us with a pleasant but unusual problem: they had so much space that they didn’t know what to do with it!

They knew they wanted to offer children a sense of adventure, but they also needed space for sports days and after-school club activities.

Never a pair to shy away from injecting a little adventure, and inspired by the brand concept we’d used for the interior, we built a walled garden complete with a maze, vegetable plot, teepee, storytime log circle and a mini forest walk.

We used oversized leaves, a calming colour palette, and a custom climbing frame to support gross motor skill development for little ones.
